Celebrating the late John Prine’s birthday (10/10), the just completed You Got Gold Festival in Nashville, and the re-issue of his 1995 album “Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings,” we revisit a 1995 session with John, Phil Parlapiano and Larry Crane. John played songs from the new album at the time, plus one from 1991’s “The Missing Years” and one of his many 1970s classics.
